Hosting & Operations

Your software is running.
Even if no one is looking.

We handle all aspects of operations: monitoring, backups, updates, and releases. This includes software developed by others as well.

Operations in Austria · Including Third-Party Systems

The Problem

The failure doesn't happen
when someone expects it to.

On Friday evening, the server goes down. On Saturday morning, it turns out that the backup hasn't been running for three weeks. And a security update was never installed because there just wasn't time.

Disruptions—
—that no one sees coming

Without monitoring, a problem isn't noticed until a customer reports it. By then, the damage has already been done.

Fuses,
that fail in an emergency

A backup that has never been restored isn't really a backup. Many people don't realize this until the moment they actually need it.

Gaps,
that remain open for months

Updates are postponed because everything is running smoothly anyway. Attackers systematically target exactly these vulnerabilities.

What We Cover

In its entirety,
—not in parts.

No split operations and no back-and-forth between service providers. We’re responsible for everything that happens after launch.

01

Web Hosting in Austria

Their systems are hosted in Austrian data centers, are GDPR-compliant, and do not rely on U.S. providers.

  • Server Operations and Availability
  • Growth Without Relocating
  • Separate environments for testing and production
  • Encrypted Connections
02

Round-the-clock monitoring

We detect anomalies before they turn into failures and are automatically alerted as soon as a threshold is exceeded.

  • Availability and Utilization
  • Databases and Certificates
  • Report by Specified Level
  • Response Even Outside Office Hours
03

Fuses According to the Rule of Three

Three copies, two different storage media, one stored in a different location. And regularly tested to ensure it works when it really counts.

  • Automatically according to a schedule
  • Regularly Tested Recovery
  • Test results in the report
  • Storage by arrangement
04

Updates and Publications

New versions go live automatically, after being tested, and with the option to roll back immediately if something goes wrong.

  • Ongoing security updates
  • Pre-release testing
  • Return to the previous version at any time
  • No interruptions for users
How You Benefit

You'll hear it from us,
, not from your customers.

Being on duty doesn't mean that someone is available in an emergency. It means that emergencies usually don't happen in the first place.

A backup that was never restored—
is just a guess.

That is why we test the recovery process regularly and include the results in our monthly report.

Procedure

From the handover
to ongoing operations.

We take over existing systems as well as new ones immediately after launch. There is no gap between development and operation.

State of Affairs

We'll take a look at the servers, settings, the status of backups, and pending updates. The result is a complete picture of the current situation.

1–2 days

Set Up Monitoring

Monitoring with thresholds and notification channels will be set up for all critical services. From then on, we’ll be notified immediately if a problem arises.

1–3 days

Install and check fuses

Automatic backups follow the rule of three, and the restore process is run through once immediately. Until then, it’s not a backup.

1–2 days

Set Up a Publication Channel

New versions go live automatically, with testing beforehand and the option to revert afterward. You don't have to do anything except approve them.

2–5 days

Ongoing Operations and Report

From this point on, everything runs in the background. Once a month, you'll receive a report on availability, publications, and events.

Why ITanic

The difference isn't luck,
but the process behind it.

If you wait until something goes wrong to react, you've already lost. The effort has to be put in beforehand.

We see it right in front of you

Anomalies, resource shortages, and recurring errors are detected before they lead to a failure.

Safety Is Part of Operations

As a cybersecurity company, we consider potential vulnerabilities in every system. Updates, hardening, and access rights are standard—not an additional service.

Third-party systems as well

We take over software that someone else has developed. After conducting an assessment, we set up monitoring, backups, and deployment channels.

No obligation to stay

We work with widely used technologies and maintain comprehensive documentation. When switching providers, we transfer all access credentials and settings in their entirety.

Frequently Asked Questions

What customers clarify beforehand.

What exactly is being monitored?

Server availability, CPU and RAM usage, database connections, certificates, backup execution, the status of releases, and metrics from the application itself. Alerts are triggered automatically when predefined thresholds are exceeded.

What happens in the event of a failure?

The monitoring system alerts us immediately. Depending on the urgency, we respond right away—even at night and on weekends. You’ll be notified and won’t have to handle it yourself.

Do you also take on systems built by others?

Yes. First, we conduct a comprehensive assessment, identify any outstanding risks, and document everything. Then we set up monitoring, safeguards, and publication channels. This typically takes three to seven days.

What does the "rule of three" mean when it comes to fuses?

Three copies of the data stored on two different media, one of which is kept at a different location. This ensures that a single failure, fire, or theft will never affect all copies. We test the recovery process regularly and document the results in a report.

How are security updates installed?

Critical updates will be applied as soon as they become available, after being tested in a test environment. All other updates will be grouped together during scheduled maintenance windows. You will be notified in both cases.

Is availability guaranteed?

Yes. The contracts specify a target availability level. If this level is not met for reasons attributable to us, the customer is entitled to a reduction in the fee. We set forth the exact figures in writing.

Does that mean we're bound to you?

No. We use widely adopted technologies and maintain complete documentation. When switching providers, we transfer all access credentials, settings, and documentation in their entirety.

We also operate things we didn't build.

And when an application reaches its limits, we continue to develop it.
