When taking the long way around becomes a habit,
doesn't have the right software.

We build the application around your process, rather than adapting your workflows to a predefined framework. From the initial sketch through to live operation.

Operations in Austria · Security from the Start

The Problem

Every detour was once a stopgap solution
.

Over the years, workarounds have piled up around software that never quite fit. They waste time every day, cause errors, and nobody even notices them anymore.

The process
depends on the tool

Off-the-shelf software imposes workflows that don't fit your business. What's left are extra steps that nobody needs, but everyone ends up doing.

's Tables as a Hidden Core System

Important processes depend on a file that someone created and that no one understands. It cannot be shared, verified, or replaced.

Data is transferred manually

Whatever is copied between two systems is bound to go wrong at some point. The error usually isn't noticed until it has become costly.

What We Build

Four types of applications,
—one common goal.

Everything we build should be easy to use without training, stand up to everyday use, and be expandable later on without having to start from scratch.

01

Web Applications and Portals

Applications that run in the browser, for internal teams or for your customers. They replace spreadsheets and grow along with your business.

  • Job Portals
  • Customer Areas
  • Reports
  • Planning and Scheduling
02

Mobile Applications

For anyone who doesn't work at a desk. They work even without a signal, sync up as soon as a connection is restored, and let you use the camera, location, and barcode scanning right on the device.

  • Field Service
  • Maintenance and Service
  • Warehouse and Inventory
  • Customer App
03

Connections to Your Systems

So that data flows to where it's needed, rather than being copied—even to systems that no one wants to touch anymore.

  • Merchandise Management
  • Customer Management
  • Machinery and Equipment
  • Cloud Services
04

Surfaces That Explain Themselves

For us, design isn't just a finishing touch—it's the factor that determines whether the software will actually be used in everyday life.

  • Clickable Draft in Advance
  • Test with real users
  • Recurring elements, once defined
  • Can be operated without training
In every project

What is not up for negotiation.

These features aren't an extra cost or a later upgrade. They're the reason why the software still works after three years.

Structure
  • Clear Separation of UI and Logic
  • Rights and Roles from the Very Beginning
  • Expandable without having to rebuild
Security
  • Security in Every Architectural Decision
  • Data Storage in Austria, GDPR-Compliant
  • No dependence on U.S. providers
Connection
  • Interfaces to Existing Systems
  • Supports multiple languages and clients
  • Automated Delivery of Updates

If training is needed,
the interface isn't ready yet.

That's why we start with a clickable prototype that real users interact with before a single line of code is written.

Design

You don't see poor service in the special offers at
—only when the service is actually being provided.

Systems that no one uses internally and portals that customers leave immediately rarely have a functional problem.

Design Before Code

A clickable mockup shows what the final product will look like before any work is done. Making changes takes minutes instead of weeks.

Real users instead of assumptions

Testing is conducted with the people who work with it every day, not with those who commissioned the project.

Standardized Building Blocks

Recurring elements are defined once. Each extension integrates seamlessly without requiring a new decision.

Self-explanatory in everyday life

The goal is an interface that works without a manual, even for someone using it for the first time.

Technologies

Widespread, stable,
—with no dependence on us.

We choose technologies that others are also familiar with. Your team can jump right in, and if necessary, someone else can take over.

Surface
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • React Native
  • Native Apps for iOS and Android
Servers and Data
  • Node.js
  • Python
  • C# and Java
  • PostgreSQL
Operation
  • Web Hosting in Austria
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Automated Delivery
  • Monitoring During Operation

We don't choose a technology just because it's new, but because it's the right fit for your situation and will still be supported five years from now.

Procedure

From the "
" concept to a fully operational system.

No months-long plan that nobody ends up reading. We work in short phases with regular presentations so you can help steer the process.

Initial Consultation and Requirements

We understand your processes and what the system is supposed to do, and we’ll be honest about what makes sense and what doesn’t.

1–2 days

Concept and clickable prototype

You can see what’s being created before any development costs are incurred. Feedback is incorporated as long as changes don’t cost anything.

1–2 weeks

Development in Short Sections

Regular demonstrations show the current status. You can shift priorities without derailing the project.

4–16 weeks

Testing and Commissioning

Thorough testing, user training, and a guided launch. We're available if you have any questions afterward.

1–2 weeks

Follow-up Care

No project ends with radio silence. We’ll continue to monitor, maintain, and develop the system for as long as you want us to.

Why ITanic

We build software.
And we defend it.

Most agencies deliver code. For us, security isn't just an add-on at the end—it's the second line of business handled by the same team.

Security is our area of expertise

We have conducted forensic investigations into actual attacks. That is why security isn't just a check at the end of a project, but part of every decision made during development.

You're talking to the team that builds

No project managers acting as translators; no outsourcing abroad. Whoever takes on your request will also carry it out.

Your data remains in Austria

Operations, tools, and the development environment are located in Austrian data centers. There is no dependence on U.S. providers.

We'll stay after the start

Maintenance, updates, and further development are handled by the same people who built the system.

Frequently Asked Questions

What needs to be clarified before the project begins.

How long does a project take?

Simpler applications are ready for use in six to ten weeks. Larger systems with multiple integrations typically take three to six months. We work in short phases with regular demonstrations so that you can provide ongoing feedback.

Can you extend existing software?

Most of the time, yes. We first check whether the existing system can be expanded using interfaces without altering the underlying infrastructure. We recommend building a new system only if the existing infrastructure no longer allows for further development.

Who will maintain the software after it goes live?

We provide a dedicated point of contact. After implementation, we handle maintenance, updates, and further development.

Where is our data stored?

Exclusively on servers in Austria. No U.S. providers, no processing outside the European Economic Area.

How much does it cost to operate?

That depends on the scope. After we get started, we'll work with you to determine which model is right for you—ranging from basic maintenance to full-scale operation, including hosting. There is no mandatory package.

What happens when requirements change?

That's the usual scenario. New requests are added to the next section, and existing ones can be moved to the back of the line. You don't pay for work you no longer want.

A new application is only as good as its integration.

To prevent data from having to be transferred manually again, you need seamless connections to your existing systems.
