From Concept to Product

An idea becomes a product. We make it happen.

Many product development projects fail not because of the idea itself, but because of how it’s executed. Poor architecture, an overly broad scope, and delayed customer feedback. We build iteratively, prioritize carefully, and deliver an early version that provides real value.

The problem

Most product development projects don't fail because of the idea itself.

They fail because of incorrect assumptions, an overly broad scope, and an architecture that has to be rebuilt after the initial launch. Companies invest six months in a full version that nobody has ordered.

The opposite of that isn't a lack of ambition. It's an MVP that delivers real customer feedback in eight weeks, rather than a perfect solution that comes too late.

Too much at once

Those who try to build everything in version 1.0 often end up delivering too late, at too high a cost, and failing to meet users' actual needs.

Architecture that doesn't scale

What works for 100 users breaks down when there are 10,000. Identifying poor architecture early on saves you from having to undertake the most expensive redevelopment project of all.

No technical partner

If you don't have your own IT department, you have to put your blind trust in a service provider. This often results in a product that only the developer understands and only he can maintain.

02 Procedure

From the initial discussion to the finished product.

No black-box development. Every phase produces a clear result that you can view, test, and provide feedback on.

Development process

01

Initial Consultation and Requirements Analysis

We understand your idea, your target audience, and your market. Together, we’ll determine what the product needs to be able to do, what it doesn’t need to do in Version 1, and where the greatest value lies.

1–2 weeks
02

Architecture, Prototype, and Scope Definition

We design the technical architecture, build a clickable prototype for user testing, and define the scope for the first development phase. You review and approve everything before we begin development.

1–2 weeks
03

MVP development in short sprints

We develop in two-week sprints with regular demos. You see the progress, provide feedback, and set the priorities. No surprises six months down the line.

4–8 weeks
04

Beta with real users

The first working version is being released to real users. We measure, analyze, and iterate based on real feedback. This is the most valuable step in the entire development process.

2–4 weeks
05

Launch, operation, and further development

We deploy on EU infrastructure, set up monitoring and CI/CD, and provide ongoing operational support. Continuous improvement begins after launch.

How We Work

Transparency you can see.

You’ll always know exactly what’s being developed. No black-box development, no surprises six months down the line. Every sprint ends with a demo that you approve.

Why ITanic

We build products. And we operate them.

Most agencies deliver code and then disappear. We are your technical partner for the entire lifecycle of your product.

Security is part of the architecture.

No other software company has its own in-house security team. We check architectural decisions for security vulnerabilities before they are implemented, not after.

No vendor lock-in. You remain in control.

You’ll receive the complete source code, documentation, and architectural insights. If you want to switch, you can. We build our systems so that this remains an option.

An MVP in 8 weeks. Not a promise, but a method.

Clear prioritization, two-week sprints, and a fixed scope document before writing a single line of code. This isn’t a coincidence—it’s a process we follow consistently in every project.

EU infrastructure. No compromises.

Hosting, tools, data processing: all based in Austria and the EU. Fully GDPR-compliant, with no reliance on U.S. cloud services and no legal gray areas.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Product Development.

Scope and Planning
MVP stands for Minimum Viable Product. It is the smallest version of your product that delivers real value to real users. The point is to gather feedback before spending six months developing in the wrong direction. You won’t know what users really need until they actually have the product in their hands.
In a structured workshop, we develop user stories: What does each user group want to do? What is essential, and what is “nice to have”? Together, we prioritize these based on value and effort. The result is a clear requirements document that serves as the foundation for the entire development process.
This is normal and not a problem. We work in two-week sprints with clear priorities. New insights and changed requirements are incorporated into the next sprint. You never pay for work that turns out to be incorrect.
Costs and Timing
That depends on the scope, complexity, and desired timeline. A simple MVP can typically be implemented as a fixed-price project. More complex products with multiple integrations are often developed using a retainer model. We’ll provide a concrete initial assessment during our first consultation.
Yes, provided the scope is clearly defined. Eight weeks does not mean a fully finished product with all features, but rather the core functions that deliver the greatest value. We will determine exactly what is realistic within this timeframe and document it in writing during the analysis phase.
After the launch
We. No handover document, followed by radio silence. We set up hosting, monitoring, and CI/CD, and manage the product on an ongoing basis. You have a dedicated point of contact. If something goes down, we’ll know before you do.
No problem. You’ll receive the complete source code, architecture documentation, and a well-organized codebase. We build our systems so that an internal team can take over seamlessly. No vendor lock-in, no artificial dependencies.
